Job Description

As a Construction & Facilities (C&F) Lead within Retail Unit, your main responsibility is to develop and support our expansion to strategically grow our business and generate long-term qualitative results within the area of construction and facilities. Your focus in the role as C&F Lead will be on the five dimensions: cost, time, quality, compliance, and sustainability within the construction field.
Your responsibility is to identify and communicate challenges and opportunities within construction and facilities and ensure the development of optimal store concepts and store projects from a C&F point of view. Your role as a C&F Lead is crucial in meeting our brand and customer experience standards, making you an integral part of our customer-centric team.
We are looking for someone with a strong passion for construction and facilities development, eager to help establish global guidelines and standards. You thrive on exploring innovative working methods and initiatives that enhance our global store portfolio. With a natural drive for ownership, you communicate clearly and effectively and have the ability to motivate and inspire your colleagues
In the role you will:
• Navigate and support the global Retail organization through potential challenges and opportunities within the Construction and Facility (C&F) scope, including investment management, value engineering, time planning, and sustainable solutions for construction projects and in the store development processes.
• Participate in setting and achieving global targets within cost, time, quality, compliance, and sustainability, ensuring a unified approach across all regions.
• Follow-up on new investment and running costs for our global store portfolio.
• Be the global center of excellence for construction ways of working, including documents, guidelines, and tools.
• Develop circular building methods and proactively stay up to date with the latest development and innovations within physical retail fit-out and maintenance, fostering a culture of innovation and progress.
• Conduct construction audits to secure intelligent business decisions in compliance with guidelines, policies, and processes.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role we see that you have:
5+ years' experience from Construction and/or Real Estate, preferably within the retail industry.
Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture or Business Administration.
Experience within Facility Management is a plus.
Experience from working in an international environment with several. stakeholders and seniority levels.
Understanding of technical installations such as HVAC, Fire Safety systems, electrical installations etc.
Strong in MS Office, more specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to travel when required.
