Job Description
As a Construction & Facility Manager, you are reporting to the Head of Store Development and is responsible for all Construction and Facility related activities within the brand. You will be the main point of contact within ARKET for Global, Regional & Market Construction and Facility Departments within the H&M Group and you're involved in all projects and most initiatives within Store Development. Some of your responsibilities are:
work closely with our market teams to optimize store projects from a cost, time, quality, compliance and sustainability perspective. (E.g., operational follow-up on the project budgets and mitigation of change orders)
travel to the relevant markets to secure projects and support local expansion teams to deliver projects and facility management services in an efficient way.
collect and align business needs within ARKET and communicate this to relative stakeholders within company,
review, analyze and challenge budgets for new projects and provide relevant feedback to the market teams during new openings, optimizations and consolidations.
set & secure goals and strategy together with the management in respect of cost, time, quality, compliance and sustainability and provide constructive feedback to relevant stakeholder.
analyze trends for the goals and KPI's, react and take actions needed.
develop brand specific routines for how to build the stores, maintenance instructions and guidelines by bringing expertise and innovative ideas within these areas.
Qualifications

International experience from working in a global environment within Expansion of physical retails stores with several stakeholders and seniority levels.
High drive with strong attention to detail. Can cope with a high degree of ambiguity, uncertainty and change.
Analytical approach and ability to review and challenge costs and investments regarding construction and facility.
Proficient in Office and able to read and understand Construction Drawings and blueprints.
Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken, any other language an asset.
Experience from Construction, Facility Management, and/or Real Estate, preferably within the retail industry
Project management, engineering / architect background and/or relevant business experience
Someone who can bring a new or different perspective to the brand and the team.
