The year was 2005 and e-commerce had long been precarious. With an idea to offer secure and simple payment solutions, Klarna was founded that same year. Six years have passed and we have grown to an ambitious and creative company of 600 employees. We have been awarded Company of the Year in -07 (bragging), increased our turnover by 13 570 % (statistics) and managed to become the Nordic market leader (facts). Klarna is partly owned by Sequoia Capital, DST Global and General Atlantic - companies that have seen the same potential in Google, Facebook and Twitter as they do in us. We think that is a good start.

We are looking for a Configuration Manager with around 5 years of experience.

As Configuration Manager you should have a strong familiarity with software configuration management and management of baselines. Working in code version control systems like Git is you second nature. You have extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux, skill with scripting languages, and experience with build management tools. Experience automating configuration and build processes is highly desired.

Responsibilties:

• Own, manage and improve our configurations

• Build and maintain tools needed for configuration management

• Provide working and documented configurations and baselines

• Support the Release Manager with well documented
configurations to ensure high quality deliveries

• You enjoy the challenge of designing and maintaining a working configuration environment.

You don't give in when it comes to assuring high quality deliveries and you see communication and expectation management as key in configuration management.

At the Engineering department we are about 120 Engineers, and this is only the beginning of our journey of building the best Engineering Department in the world.
