We at The Fit develop a mobile 3D body scanning technology providing users with digital Body ID:s that can be used to shop for the right size, order customized products or virtually try on clothes.
By combining 3D scanning and artificial intelligence, The Fit change the online experience of the future. It entails a whole new world of personal comfort for digital consumers while helping companies reduce return costs, increase conversion and contribute to a better environment due to reduced carbon dioxide emissions.
Our Body ID:s can also be used in healthcare and contribute to a healthier population by tracking body changes, monitoring health risks and 3D modeling body parts.
What have we accomplished?
We have an MVP and will start pilot tests during the spring. Companies interested in our solution are global fashion brands and e-commerce platform.
During 2018 The Fit has won prizes such as Top Tech in Venture Cup, SKAPA-award for young innovators and Business Challenge.
The team consists of two co-founders and consultants today and we will close our first investment round before a new team member starts.
The Fit is a part of Sting, the leading ecosystem in the Nordics for startups with high growth potential.
What's our challenge?
On the tech side, we are working on improving our computer vision algorithm.
Your role will be to:
Working on refining our technology get higher accuracy and create 3D models from 2D data.
Looking a few years ahead and doing R&D with the latest, most promising technology to create the mobile body measuring technology of the future.
Initiating our development for the MedTech sector, 3D modeling body parts for prosthetics manufacturing based on our previous research working with point clouds.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
We believe that you:
Have a Master Degree or PhD in relevant field (computer vision, artificial intelligence, data science, or similar).
Have a couple of years of experience working with computer vision in a company.
