Position Summary
Are you a coaching Project manager with a passion for Verification and validation of our products and developing our processes? Do you thrive in leading change and are able to create a climate of cross functional teamwork were everyone are accountable and proud of for the products and solutions we deliver for our customers success?
Platform Development is a function within Global Product Development (GPD) at Volvo Buses. We are responsible for developing platform solutions within the areas of Chassis Body in white, Body, Powertrain and Electrical. The main sites are located in Sweden and Brazil.
Volvo Buses is now looking for a Complete verification leader for our Project Management office within Platform Development who has the drive and passion to contribute to Volvo buses profitability.
As a Complete Verification Leader for Volvo Bus you will lead the Verification activities from project initiation to the end of the project. You will also develop the complete project verification plan.
You will report to the Project Manager Engineering (PME) in project organization and lead the verification and validation team within a project.
Main Responsibilities
• Lead the verification and validation activities within a project
• Analysis of verification needs in projects
• Develop complete project verification and validation plan
• Communicate verification status and corresponding risks
• Complete view of existing and new verification methods and corresponding training need from PD organization

Profile
• Analytic with customer focus and the ability to work cross functionally
• Broad experience within verification and validation and product development
• Complete vehicle knowledge
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proven ability to drive change
• Pro-active and open mind set
• Academic degree or relevant experience
• Experience from project management or line management positions is an advantage
• Fluent in English and Swedish, spoken and written
