The Internal and Corporate Communications department is now looking for a Communication Professional, as the person currently responsible for PR is moving on to new challenges within Sandvik. Are you our new colleague? We offer you a position with varied and developing tasks.
The location for this position is flexible.
Key performance areas
In close contact with Sandvik Coromant management, spokespersons, managers and employees, you will be responsible for our external company communication with media, society, existing and future employees. The position also includes researching and preparing Q&A sessions, voice-over scripts, presentation materials, as well as coaching of spokespersons. You will establish and develop good and lasting relations with internal and external stakeholders. As part of the PR duties you will also be a member of the social media and web team, taking shared responsibility for our external voice in different online channels.
In parallel with the PR tasks, you will also work with communication in internal change projects order to increase enthusiasm and commitment with involved stakeholders. Your work environment is global and cross-functional and offers great possibilities for development.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree and several years' experience of working with communication in a multinational company. We also expect that you have the ability to convey and transform complicated relations, topics and facts into straightforward messages, adjusted to the channel used and the intended receiver. Since you will be a member of many project teams, your experience from project work is very useful. Furthermore, you are a skilled writer with good stylistic and pedagogic ability and you have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of other languages is advantageous.

As an individual, we expect you have the personality to both work successfully together with a team or network and enjoy the freedom and responsibility of managing your own area of expertise individually.
