Do you want to take on one of Scania Procurement's most engaging and fascinating roles? Are you eager to make a difference and work with a team whose directions and decisions will contribute Scania to Drive the Shift? Are you ready to stay alert to global weather reports, news about a ship stuck in the Suez Canal, geopolitical changes, sustainability directions and macro-economic factors influencing logistic flows worldwide? We can now offer you all this in an extremely enjoyable, challenging, complex, and critical role within a rapidly changing business environment.

We are now building a new Logistics Procurement organisation and are looking for two group managers to join us. The two groups are:
Inbound, Overseas & Courier Express, SALA
Outbound, Logistic Services & Packaging Material, SALB

Your role
As one of the group managers within Logistics Procurement, you have a truly global role with the potential to impact our environmental and corporate social responsibility initiatives at a high level. Being a part of the critical supply chain to Scania, your suppliers can also be one of Scania's important end-customers, meaning that you will have to be able to navigate the thin line between procurement and sales in your business relationships.

Preferably you have previous leadership experience as a manager in a commercial organisation, and with your leadership and guidance, you will:
support and develop your employees on their individual development path.
represent Scania Logistics Procurement in various internal and external forums, building relationships and giving your expertise on strategic procurement and sustainability related topics.
create and plan the long-term strategic sourcing activities for Logistics Procurement within Scania globally.
build close cooperation with your procurement colleagues in Brazil, with our suppliers, Logistics Managers, PRU Managers, mangers within Sales & Marketing/Commercial Operations and with the other brands within the TRATON Group Procurement community.
shape a wide network of contacts, both internally and externally.

The teams
The main objective for the two teams are, from a commercial and legal standpoint, to secure our logistics set-up, global transport needs and supplier base to control and reduce cost for the complete commodity turnover, and at the same time ensuring that the other value driver targets are met (technology, quality, delivery and sustainability). Simultaneously in close collaboration, the teams strives to continuously improve the current way of working with our internal stakeholders.

Currently, we have two great teams of five and six highly motivated sourcing managers with deep competence in logistics and an eagerness to test new ideas in a dynamic and positive culture.

These are two diverse teams with high business morale and a collaborative attitude, eager to embrace new perspectives. The team members are independent and self-motivated, supporting each other brainstorming commercial views and challenges to shape the future.

As a member of the Logistics Procurement management team, you will also take an active part in setting up a new organisation and further developing the business area of Logistics Procurement.

Your profile
To succeed in this position, you bring profound commercial knowledge, a result-focused approach and a true drive and passion.

Your mindset is built on trust and transparency and you contribute with your leadership skills. Leading through changes is something you find both inspiring and rewarding and team diversity and inclusion are built into your DNA. You understand that over time, the success of your team lies with the people and how you promote their development. With empathy, strong integrity and excellent communication skills, you enable the team to navigate and create an open atmosphere.

In a workday with extensive international contacts, you are energized by building your broad network internally and externally. Building relationships and representing Logistics Procurement comes naturally to you, and you express yourself fluently in English, both spoken and written.
