hela Sverige As a Commodity Buyer for Marketing Services you will have a role to purchase Marketing services for Volvo group (both for Volvo group HQ functions and for all brands). Your role will be to work as an buyer to purchase, negotiate and select suppliers for stakeholder projects as well as optimize supplier base, securing competitive and quality secured agreements, developing best practice purchasing processes, for your segments. An important part of the job is also to interact and collaborate with the stakeholders within Volvo Group and to build solid and efficient realtastionships with them.
You will be a part of the Professional services & Travel (PST) commodity, within IPS, together with an international team of commodity buyers all responsible for other PST segments.
You will report to the Commodity Manager for Marketing
Main Responsibilities
• Manage your segments from an operational (Europe) and strategic (global) purchasing perspective
• Fully accountable for the regional business and KPI's
• Act as purchasing representative in stakeholder projects by leading the commercial negotiations with suppliers and making supplier recommendation
• Drive synergies and share best practices within the Volvo Group.
• Establish and maintain good collaboration with stakeholders for your segments and proof IPS value-adding

Essential Skills and Needed Experience
• University degree in technology and/or business.
• Initial experience in Purchasing and/or negotiation
• Project management knowledge.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Analytical skills.
• Results oriented and open minded attitude.
• Experience from working in an international environment is an asset
• Continuous improvement skills.
• Social competence: a team player with a high level of integrity.
• Good communication and argumentation skills at all levels.
