What you'll do?As a Commodity Buyer you will manage supplier meetings, negotiations, manage projectbuys and risk analysis.
The scope for this role is mechanical components, for example lens, connectors and castings. You will have collegues within this category at all sites of Veoneer globally.
Other tasks suchs as orderplacement, handling allocated material, handling of supplier database for your assigned suppliers that you are leadbuyer for will also be actual. In addition you will also be responsible for invoices, price management and analysis of volumes-data in Excel.
What you'll bring?We are looking for an experienced person with good communication skills and with proven experience of purchasing roles with negotiations and supplier Contacts. As Commodity Buyer you need to be well structured and have high engagement to finalizework due to agreed deadlines.You need to handle many open tasks in different areas at the same time.
To succeed in this role you should have:
• aBachelor degree in engineering, purchasing, economics orlogistics.
• skills in PLM, SharePointand ERP-systems.
• good skills in Office, especially Excel.
It's meritorious if you have experience of purchasing in the mechanical component area.
