hela Sverige Commercial Operations has the global responsibility for the strategies, operations and control of the Scania-owned sales and services companies and business units.
Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies.
Within Workshop Operations we are working with commercial methods, to support the development of the service business within our network.
As a Commercial Methods Manager you will work in a team supporting the global service organisation to achieve the best workshop performance, by providing effective commercial methods, standards and tools to be implemented within our retail network.
Workshop Operations, BTW, is in an intensive and exciting period with many changes on how we interact with our service network. Both in terms of implementing services and by introducing global standards in the workshops.
We are looking for a Commercial Methods Manager to define activities which will short and long term contribute to the Commercial Operation strategy.
Work with Strategy deployment
Define, describe and implement standards for commercial methods
Define and create standards for service potential definition and calculation
Define training demands (portfolio & specific training content)
Your profile
Since this is a high profile position, we expect you're able to produce, present and implement Commercial Methods and prepare for decisions in different corporate forums. You're as well a person who can work independently within the area and at the same time be a team player.
Your role also includes interactions with the management team in our business units as well as local managers at retail level in our service network. It is important that you have the ability to establish networks both within and outside Scania.
Your background and experiences are, several years within the service network for commercial vehicles industry preferably from both BU level and retail level. You have been working with commercial questions as service potentials, strategies, trainings, demands etc. You have good communication skills and are able to take discussions with our markets at all levels.
The external contacts in our service network require that you are fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are considered a merit. Travelling will be required.
