What you will be a part of
Airborne ISR (a business unit within Support & Services) is currently leading a number of ongoing major aircraft modification/integration projects. With a clear focus also on many future prospects and market activities we see the opportunity to increase our Marketing and Sales staff with an experienced Commercial Manager.
We deliver Surveillance Aircrafts (AEW/MPA/MSA) and our business interacts with other Saab Business Areas demanding exceptional cooperations skills.
Good communication and cooperation is key words in our efforts to satisfy our customers needs.
The Marketing and Sales department ensures the BU order intake and the Commercial Management is a key factor to deliver planned financial results in the captured orders.More information about our Airborne Solutions-

In this position you will be required to coordinate and consolidate a number of internal and external
sources of commercial information, such as expert functions that provide input of a commercial
nature and the commercial content of several business units, both within and outside of Support and Services, as well as partners. You will be responsible for evaluating the profitability of our proposals resulting from the terms and conditions and the other commercial factors. The professional interface you will have consist of the:
Capture team
Participating business units
Group Legal Affairs; Treasury, Tax and Finance.
Industrial Cooperation
Examples of responsibilities and tasks are to:
Analyse requests for proposals
Define internal requests for commercial information
Participate in the definition of the business setup
Manage and coordinate all sources of commercial information
Draft and/or evaluate terms and conditions such as Non-disclosure Agreement or Contracts
Evaluate commercial risks and profitability of the bid
Prepare input for the Win Business-process
Support with contract negotiation
Every prospect is managed by a capture team which you will be part of. The capture team consists of representatives from the BU organisation e.g. Marketing and Sales, Product Management and Project Management.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for someone with experience from legal, finance, procurement or project management.
You are a team player, as close cooperation with all areas in Support and Services and other parts of the Saab organisation is vital for success. Our business environment is global so you are fluent in English and able to work abroad for shorter periods. Other languages are also appreciated.
Your qualifications are:
Appropriate professional experience in a business oriented or technical discipline
Strong business understanding and customer focus
Desire for innovation, both regarding technology and business models
Understanding and ability to work in an international environment and within a matrix organisation
Proven ability to take decisions to improve profitability
Skills to combine strategic thinking with operational actions
Experience from negotiation
Proven ability and interest in leading, developing and challenging the organisation, management teams and employees
Strong driving force, perseverance and ability to generate energy.For this employment you can be situated in Linköping, Stockholm or Gothenburg. We will however prefer candidates who are able to have their main office in Linköping.
