We are now is seeking a commercial General Counsel. This is a tremendous opportunity to join a innovative market leading company and add immediate value in a fast growing environment. Reporting to the CFO, this challenging role will encompass a wide range of legal matters, with a particular focus on partnering with the Sales and Customer Success org to provide strategic, business-oriented legal guidance on a wide variety of issues. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in commercial contracts, negotiations and thrives in a leadership role that requires cross-functional collaboration. In addition, the candidate will have solid experience from global environments including privacy, compliance, information security, data governance and human resources.
Based in Malmö, the ideal candidate has direct experience, preferably from both law-firm and in-house environments. The right person for this position must be a team player with highly collaborative interpersonal skills. This individual will take pride in personal excellence, display a high level of proactivity and possess a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
Responsibilities
• Providing strategic level support and planning for the groups future growth and success
• Reviewing and giving guidance on newly introduced legislation and the potential impact on business units
• Design and implement scalable legal and compliance strategies to address the numerous legal needs of cloud products, services and platforms
• Work closely with the business teams of all departments on a broad range of legal, business and strategic issues as they arise
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success throughout the customer life-cycle to ensure customer success
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements
• Leading critical, complex legal transactions and negotiation.

• You have extensive experience from a global legal environment

• You are organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and flexible
• You have experience in SaaS industry
• You have an ability to understand business needs and partner with internal clients and outside groups to find creative solutions to complex problems
• You have strong written/oral communication skills
