The role is based in Kista, Sweden. Responsible for 50 desktop and laptop PC’s spread across the Nordic area including all the tasks below. This role is ongoing and requires 20 hours per week commitment which means the successful candidate can combine studies and gain experience simultaneously.
Client Services Technician tasks:
• Providing 1st and 2nd level desktop/laptop/monitor support (IBM & HP laptops/Dell desktops).
• Provide Audio Visual support to customers in conference rooms on site.
• Rebuildâ€? Process: Follow the detailed rebuild process in place, for both Single User/Laptop XP Build and Bullpen/Multi-User XP Build.
• Troubleshoot Office Software Issues: Be able to support common software issues within the Office Suite.
• Support Outlook Profile & Folder Issues.
• Update accurately Asset Direct database user to monitor movement of desktops and laptops.
• Offer productivity assistance and training to all customers.
• Advise team members of any technical issues effecting PC Services – build issues, network problems.
• Monitor call management system to include continuous updating and closing of calls when resolved.
• Escalate any unresolved/unsupported issues in a timely manner to the appropriate team.
• Facilitate ad-hoc customer requests.
• Strictly Adhere to all policies and procedures as set out by the customer.
Technical requirements:
• Proficient Knowledge of Windows XP
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office suite
• Proficient knowledge of MS Outlook
• Understanding of Client/Server technologies
• Understanding of networking technologies (WAN/LAN)
• Understanding of networking software (TCP/IP; etc)
• Excellent hardware knowledge
