About the job
In this role, you're responsible for analyzing business needs by collaborating with business leaders, project managers, and IT teams to understand current and future capabilities. You translate business needs and technical requirements into architectural blueprints and high-level solution designs that are scalable, secure, compliant, and reliable. Leading the evaluation, design, and analysis for implementing solution architecture across specific business applications or technologies is part of your daily tasks. You provide guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
Your role includes:
Creating and maintaining architectural blueprints, integration plans, technology roadmaps, and implementation plans.
Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Ensuring solutions meet quality standards and performance benchmarks.
Staying updated on emerging technology trends and disruptions to continuously improve architecture and solutions.
The location for this position is Fagersta or Stockholm, and we apply a hybrid work solution.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with experience in architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and core architecture domains such as integration, network, data, and security. Foundational coding skills (e.g., Java, Python, C#) are beneficial to evaluate technical feasibility and communicate effectively with development teams. You excel in analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into technical solutions, using visualization skills with standard modeling notations (e.g., Archimate). Project management, including planning, execution, and delivery within defined timelines and budgets, is part of your skill set, along with Agile and DevOps practices to enhance collaboration and delivery efficiency.
Your strong problem-solving abilities and effective interpersonal skills enable you to work creatively and analytically. Excellent verbal and written communication skills allow you to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You thrive in a decentralized, cross-functional team environment, demonstrating self-leadership and proactiveness. Your readiness to anticipate and initiate change, take control over situations, and solve problems before they arise, makes you an ideal candidate for this role.
