We are seeking a product specialist with background in chemistry to join the Cyclotron and TRACERcenter service team.
Essential Responsibilities:
The TRACERcenter Service modality based in Uppsala is the world's leading service provider for GE cyclotrons and GE Synthesizers. As a chemistry product specialist, you will perform installation, application training and service tasks at customer sites globally. You will also provide remote technical support to colleagues, field engineers and customers around the globe via phone and email. You will act as a key link between field service and modality departments such as engineering, production and manufacturing.
In this role you will have the opportunity to grow your expertise and to experience the full range of field service and customer interaction at GE Healthcare. This will include the following responsibilities:
Perform installations including IQOQ, tracer production and application training at customer sites globally.Tracer production includes setting up new tracers on our synthesizer platforms so that customer can produce radiopharmaceuticals
Occasionally complete support service jobs at short notice
Be a tutor for technical trainings on our synthesizer equipment in our fully equipped tracer production lab
Create application training material and technical training material
Handle customer calls (RSL) for service for radiopharmacy
Act as a link between service and other departments, share knowledge and drive for fix and improvements
The position is located in Uppsala.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor or Master of Science as Chemistry engineer. Desired major: Organic or analytical chemistry
Ability to understand and follow mechanical schematics and electrical wiring diagrams
Excellent computer skills
High degree of quality awareness, excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills combined with ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems
Team player, cooperative, ability to take over responsibilities and customer focused
Fluent in English and Swedish in both written and verbal communications
High degree of flexibility, highly motivated with ability to work under pressure
EU work permit
Willing and able to travel (estimated 60-100 days)
Desired Characteristics:
Experience with GE Healthcare products: FASTlab, Tracerlab, radiosynthesizers.
Service/ application experience
Radiation trained, radiochemistry experience
