For the operations at GKN Aerospace Applied Composites AB in Linköping , we seek a
Head of Programme/Project Management
Role Purpose
Lead, develop and provide a solid structure for the programme/project management function at a site level. This includes ensuring that planning, forecasting, coordination, issue resolution, and contingency planning are accomplished. Close interaction with customers, functional managers and plant staff will be required. The individual will be a focal point for communication on new development programmes/projects both national and international.
Responsibilites
In this role, you will:
• Manage the execution of one or more programmes to deliver approved targets i.e. time, quality, gross margin, product cost and programme budget.
• Provide consistent and comprehensive status reporting, executive-level dashboards, project updates, ongoing cost analyses, significant issue management/ resolution and communication at project and management levels
• Create and contribute to program management tools and process development
• Develop and manage detailed and integrated program-level schedule, aligning internal, external resources, suppliers and customer activities: define, communicate and control the critical path
• Lead progress of all PM activities, including Action Lists, Risk Management, Change Management and Lessons Learned activities to ensure approved programme targets are achieved.
• Act as a point of contact with customers and project teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business success
• Manage external and internal communications identifying risks, clearly communicating goals to the project stakeholders
• Receiving & manage customer engineering change information.
• Communicate professionally & effectively to project stakeholders at all levels.
• Lead program management function at the site level
Essential Skills
We are looking for a target-oriented person with a strong drive to deliver, constantly develop and improve the business. You are a business and customer focused person with the ability to network and build trusting relationships. You can lead and engage team members, communicating project information and aims clearly and appropriately to engineers and production staff.
You have technical or business education at an academic level or extensive relevant experience. You are fluent in English, both in writing and speaking. Prior project management and leadership experience is an advantage.
