Our Business Area Segment Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions is on an exciting growth journey, building the new digital era of manufacturing, and we have the know-how and innovative mindset to develop ideas into pioneering tech solutions. Our portfolio includes some of the most widely used Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) brands in the industry as well as leading industrial metrology brands. Adding your strategic mind and entrepreneurial outlook, we are ready to lead this work, raise the bar higher, and enforce our position as the number one industrial player.
We're right now looking for an experienced and forward-looking business leader to join us as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Are you ready to embark on an exciting track where you get to impact our future and set the foundation for growth, by embracing opportunities and challenges in a shifting financial landscape and driving a positive development of our financial operations?
In the coming years, our ambition is to grow our revenues with double digit numbers, meeting our target for software revenue of 4 billion SEK by 2025. A target we will reach through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. We currently employ around 1500 employees worldwide.
The job
In this central position within our decentralized organization, you're responsible for managing and coordinating the financial scope between our business units and the Sandvik Group - advising us towards successful decision making and supporting our businesses on their growth journey. To succeed, you set clear expectations and solid structures and you collaborate closely with financial resources both within SMF and with Sandvik Group finance functions to align internal financial systems, regulations and ways of working. Based on accurate results and grounded forecasts, you prepare reporting and business decision material. You communicate clearly and exact and you are able to transform numbers into strong business advantages. An important part of your job is to ensure compliance with internal frameworks, as well as global laws and regulations.
Continuous improvement is in our DNA and team spirit is key to our success. You're part of a strong and collaborative finance community - involving resources from both Sandvik Group Finance and the Business Units within the Business Area Segment, as well as stakeholders from the wider organization - and you create a setting where we stay connected to the business, share ideas and drive development. You truly believe that connecting people, processes and financial insights is the road to success. On top of this, you provide a clear, inclusive and mentoring leadership to our organization and your own team of competent professionals.
You report to the President of Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions and are a valued member of our management team. You also have a dotted line to Sandvik Group's CFO and will be part of the Sandvik Group finance management team. This role is preferably located at our Stockholm office "Gasverket", in Norra Djurgårdsstaden. Some global travel will also be included in your job from time to time.
Your character
We are looking for someone with a relevant finance or business degree, strong business acumen and a solid financial background formed within a corporate environment. You have at least ten years' experience from leading financial operations - both strategically and operationally - and you're skilled in driving change and managing stakeholders in large, international organizations. Previous experience from M&As and integrations is beneficial and so is the ability to confidently advice and direct decisions-making at management level. In addition, you have a strong set of communication skills and are used to presenting financial information to various target groups, which calls for excellent written and verbal skills in English. We also consider an understanding of software business or a similar recurring revenue business model as beneficial.
You mix a strategic and commercial mind, along with an ambitious drive to ensure operational excellence within the field of finance. You're guided by integrity and a genuine desire to create team spirit, inspire people and help us grow, and your leadership style is transparent and empowering. Finding improvements and new ways of working excites you, and you challenge us when you think it's necessary.
As a person, you easily adapt to different situations and have a genuine service attitude. You enjoy a setting where new perspectives and innovation are appreciated, and you take initiatives and search for improvements. With a practical, structured and detailed mindset, you're able to prioritize and multitask and you have what it takes to move forward and get things done. To gain trust is key in your job, and you build strong relations and offer advice based on sound judgment and thorough business understanding.
