Publiceringsdatum2013-11-29Dina arbetsuppgifterYou will be working at Discovery Science, a global function within Innovative Medicines, IM, in AstraZeneca. Discovery Sciences is mainly involved in early lead generation through the late lead optimization stage of drug discovery. It is composed of several capabilities where Reagents and Assay Development (RAD) is one among several others such as Screening Sciences and Structure & Biophysics. This position will be placed in the RAD Department where we focus on delivering different types of reagents and assays with high impact into the drug development.
You will be working lab-based with:
• providing strong expertise in the competency of Cellular Assay Development and Cell Science
• proposing experimental strategies
• troubleshooting problems
• practical delivery of projects in accordance with SHE requirements
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We think that you have a Ph. D. degree or equivalent experience in a relevant scientific discipline with experience in drug discovery. You think strategically and have the ability to work collaboratively. You have general knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, prior experience of AstraZeneca is desirable but not requested.
