Role Summary: GE Capital Commercial Distribution Finance is hiring graduates across the UK, Germany, France, Benelux, Sweden and Finland for its 9-month Graduate Talent rotational program with rotations in Floor Checking, Account Management, Underwriting or Sales Support. Rotations will depend on the country specific needs Essential Responsibilities: GE Capital, CDF provides inventory financing solutions, service and intelligence through in-depth industry expertise and a commitment to our customers. We immerse ourselves in the industries our customers live in so we can truly be an extension of their team and a partner they can rely on in any economic cycle. Over the 9 month CDF Graduate Talent Program you'll have the opportunity to cover all aspects of supporting busy commercial teams such as: building relationships internally and externally, supporting customer proposals, working on key long and short term projects. The Program will also provide you with an exposure to Customer Relationship Management and opportunity to learn about CDF market and the conflicting interests between Dealers & Manufacturers. You'll work closely with the Account Managers for the collection of due outstanding, learn the internal systems and how to use various workflows, work closely with credit and sales to obtain latest financials and identify how to calculate key ratios from the financial statements and learn pre- and post- funding conditions for an activation, basics of the credit procedures. We will support you throughout 9 months Program to ensure you make the best of your GE experience. Your Country and Assignment Leaders will offer coaching and mentoring.
Qualifications/Requirements: New Graduates with 0-1 year prior work experience Strong commercial mind-set Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local language(s) depending on chosen location (French, German, Swedish & Norwegian, Finish); Spanish and Italian also desired as a second language to English Flexible to being re-located in-country Travel required Willingness to work during weekends to attend Trade shows or Dealer Conferences Strong work ethics, persuasive, confident, resilient, self-motivated, customer focus Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and continually meet deadlines EU work permit Desired Characteristics: Able to roll up your sleeves and get involved in challenging projects Inspired and curious Reliability and dependability
