We offer our customers services in three business areas; interim logistics and procurement consultants, recruitment of buyers and logisticians, as well as development of our customers' supply chain operations in terms of strategies, models, methods, processes, structure and competence.
We are looking for an experienced Category Buyer with experience from purchasing parts used in the automotive business for a 6 months assignment starting in January 2020. In this role you will also be team leader for a global category team of buyers. Are you a natural leader and negotiator with a strong background in purchasing or sales? Then this could be the right assignment for you.
The role
As a category buyer and team leader you will be part of a global procurement team with the mission to develop and maintain a supplier base, ensuring the supply of the right materials and services. In the role you will purchase components related to electrical, hybrid and combustion drive. You will be the Category Team Leader of a dynamic team of buyers located in Sweden and abroad. You will be leading the commercial negotiations and build strategic relationships with international suppliers in order to maximize the value.
Experience and competencies
For this assignment 3-5 years of experience from purchasing and negotiations is necessary. It is also desirable with experience from the automotive industry. You have a University bachelor's degree or equivalent experiences, Technical or Economical. You are a strong negotiator who has been working purchasing or sales for some years. You have natural leadership and analytical skills and the ability to see the whole picture of a business case. Since supplier relationship is important your communication skills are of great importance. You are also fluent in English, both in written and spoken.
