In our Swedish offices, in Göteborg and Linköping, we are digging deep into the inner workings of Blink and Chromium. We?re contributing to and implementing new web standards and tweaking and optimizing a massive code base to behave well on limited Android devices and TVs. You will be working with an exciting and challenging code base and modern development methods and tools, with some of the best engineers in the industry. Responsibilities:
• Participate and contribute in all parts of the software development life cycle.
• Innovate, design and implement new features for Operas browser-based products.
• Optimize and improve the browser code base.
Requirements:
• Very strong C++ and/or Java skills.
• Drive and commitment to work in a highly dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated, structured, quality-driven and able to take initiative.
• A passion for the open web.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
Ideal job requirements:
• Experience with web technology.
• Experience working with multi-process, high-performance applications.
• Experience working with embedded systems.
• Linux, Android or iOS experience.
