Group Real Estate is an integrated function in the Volvo Group, with both strategic and operational responsibility for the Group's properties, including real estate assets and facility management. We are responsible for the entire property lifecycle, from acquisition to divestment. We secure that our global property portfolio is optimized for its purpose, maintained for safety and business continuity, and supports a sustainable future.
We act as a true business partner, where we generate economies of skill and scale in the real estate area and develop industry leading work environments for people to thrive and perform at their best. We are approximately 350 employees supporting Volvo Group in 60 countries worldwide. Our property footprint consists of some 1000 sites, both leased and owned. We manage all types of properties: dealers, workshops, offices, warehouses, production facilities and more.
THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES
As of April 1st, the Europe Division (EUD) within Group Real Estate (GRE) manages the real estate-related business of the Group Trucks Operations industrial sites in Europe as well as Volvo Construction Equipment, Penta and Buses industrial sites in Sweden.
This new division consists of a team of engaged and skilled colleagues that work closely together towards fulfilling our purpose; Creating work environments where people thrive, every day. Of course, always with with health & safety as our number one priority.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As Business Office Director you will support in ensuring a long term quality and efficiency by coordinating the division 's site master plans, long-term maintenance, new investments and divestments by having processes in place to ensure the quality of required decisions. But most importantly, you will contribute in building a strong continuous improvement culture for the division in order to reach the Group Real Estate target image.
You will report to the Vice President EUD and be part of the management team.
Where your main focus will be:
Drive the continuous improvement and knowledge sharing agenda within the Division
Work closely with each Region, securing that there are clearly formulated and agreed plans which are aligned with Group Real Estate business plan and strategy
Support the regions in ensuring accurate and timely reporting, budgeting and cost control by working closely with our suppliers
Support the regions in follow up of defined KPI 's in close cooperation with GRE Business Control
Support and advice in specifications and negotiations of contracts for maintenance, consultants, services and leases in cooperation with GRE Center of Expertise and Volvo Purchasing Function
Participate in forums with internal stakeholders and suppliers, on all levels
Participate in cross regional and cross functional Real Estate forums
Identify stakeholder needs and changes in demand; giving advice & developing proposals on real estate issues

Master of Science/MBA or other relevant university background or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities
Extensive knowledge in the real estate area
You have good leadership skills and truly understand the value of diverse teams
Demonstrated experience in business analysis, development or strategy work
You are a structured, analytical and communicative person with an eye for detail. You can analyze and visualize information and build a storyline
