On behalf of one of our clients here in Stockholm, we are now looking for a Finnish speaking Business Finance Controller who is able to lead and contribute to the ongoing operation of their business in Finland.

Job Purpose:
The Business Finance Controller will provide Business and Finance support to the Finnish organization, ensure that all internal controls and policies set internally are applied and adhered to as well as support Back Office operations through efficient interaction with Central Shared Services.

Accountabilities:
• Business Support and Control (program structure, contracts, pricing, discount controls etc.)
• Support the General Manager (sales and services)
• Ensure that internal and external reporting requirements are met
• Ensure Back Office operations covering accounting matters run smoothly
• Improve visibility and importance of finance within the region
• Planning, Reporting and Analysis (revenue, support, functional reporting etc.)
• Project Support (new initiatives, new systems etc.)

Skills and abilities:
• Strong Business acumen
• Strong Finance background
• Self starter with proactive & responsive attitude
• Hands on, ability to dive from strategic and high level views into details of processes and systems.
• Natural authority
• Effective communication, interpersonal & organization skills

Education & Experience:
• Graduate degree in Finance, familiar with Finland Tax, regulations, HR principles
• 5 to 10 years experience in Multinational company, ideally within the IT industry
• Finance background with relevant business exposure
• Fluency in Finnish and English are mandatory

For the right person, our client can offer an interesting and varied position with great influence on the business as well as the possibility to let your professional capacity grow . The placement for this position is in Stockholm but will include trips to Finland a few times per month.
