Business Development Manager
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
In this role, you will sell to the Swedish market but you will be part of wider European and Global team that is fully dedicated to driving Global Snapshots for Nielsen.
As Business Development Manager, you will:
• Develop go-to-market sales plan to achieve your revenue goal
• Proactively hunt new business opportunities outside of the existing or traditional Nielsen client base
• Partner with local and international commercial teams to identify and convert opportunities for Global Snapshots
• Assess client needs, manage client expectations and translate needs to project requirements
• Write effective proposals based on client needs and global data availability, follow up, negotiate and close.
• Effectively brief the operational team on project requirements
• Contribute to local and regional projects and initiatives to drive the Global Snapshots business.
• Liaise with peers in other countries to share best practices and contribute to business development projects.
BE YOURSELF
Are you a sales-oriented person, passionate about sales, revenue growth, and new business opportunities? Are you a deal closer, comfortable in influencing your clients at senior levels? Would you like to work in a dynamic international environment?
Our candidate will have:
• Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field
• 3+ years' relevant experience work experience (marketing, research, agency, CPG manufacturer/retailer, etc)
• Knowledge of market research/ market data and/or consumer goods industry
• B2B sales experience is an asset
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong relation-building and communication skills
• Fluent in Swedish and Business English
• Nielsen's products knowledge is a strong asset.
