The Global Integrated Business Planning organization, a part of Sales & Marketing at Scania, is responsible for Scania's Integrated Business Planning process (IBP) and the core process Order to Delivery (O2D). Our mission is to increase total efficiency and profitability by providing an integrated decision-making process that the executive management can use to steer towards our strategic goals.

As a Business development manager, you will be responsible for and part of cross functional projects or drive the step change in the area of Integrated Business Planning or the Order to Delivery process. The characteristics of the initiatives can vary but common for all is the challenge to lead change from problem identification to implementation, guided by the strategy for IBP and O2D. The role gives you the opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Scania business and develop your ability to create value by analyzing and solving business challenges. Your profile
As a person you are curious and have a genuine interest in understanding the business from a holistic perspective. You want to learn more about Integrated business planning and flow efficiency and how you can contribute to taking Scania to the next level in these areas. You are innovative and open for new ways of working, have a genuine interest in understanding new techniques, such as advanced analytics and ways of working, and have the ability to transform that into value for our operations. You inspire, engage people and enjoy working together in a team. You have a positive attitude, a perseverance in reaching goals and high level of responsibility. You have successful experience from leading change in complex conditions and become energized by challenges.
One of your strong abilities is to quickly take in a large amount of information, connect the details to the bigger picture, analyze, draw conclusions and turn them into action in a structured way where you drive and follow up the activities. You enjoy work situations where your analytical thinking and your drive for change are valued just as high as creating results through actions on an everyday basis. To explain and communicate complex matters in an easy and understandable way is key to success and you are a good communicator and contributor to a learning organization.
You have a relevant academic degree for the job and are fluent in English.
