Commercial Operations has the global responsibility for the strategies, operations and control of the Scania-owned sales and services companies and business units. Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies.
The Business IT Demand team within Dealer Operations are responsible for capture, co-ordinate and prioritize business demand within the retail application portfolio. Business in this case is Scania's dealers and workshops which are responsible for the sales and service activities to Scania customers. The team Business IT Demand within Dealer Operations also contribute in global projects with business knowledge related to IT-applications in the retail network.

The team Business IT Demand within Dealer Operations has a key role in Scania 's digitalization journey.

Work description
To start with it is important to clarify is that this role is not about technical work with IT but to understand how the applications the portfolio is used, meet the current demand an new business needs.

In this role you will together with the process developers for the dealer process find the best possible solution for Scania when aligning the business demand with the applications. This by using the standard blue print to the greatest extent possible.

You will also be the business spokesperson when it comes to steering and controlling the IT road- map for your area of responsibility. In the roadmap you will prioritize change requests together with the market needs and place the development in the different application maintenance groups. The key markets for this role will be Asia and UK. You are expected to participate and run projects.

You will also work in close cooperation with the global organization within Service Operations, Business units and Scania IT. Traveling is to be expected.

Your profile
You are a person who has a strong interest in business development. You are organized, analytical and have excellent communication skills. Preferably you have experience in the retail/workshop/dealer process. Working in the area between business and IT, you need to understand both perspectives. Knowledge in applications from a user perspective in retail network is a merit for this position.

You have business analysis and leadership skills in order to deal with prioritization in a constructive manner together with our markets. You are customer oriented, an expert in identifying and understanding problems and opportunities. In order to gather business requirements and explaining solutions you need to be good at facilitating and communicating.

It is desirable that you have and university degree or relevant professional qualifications. You must be proficient in written and spoken English.
