What you will be a part of
Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions, and traffic management systems.
Your role
Purpose of the position:
The Business Controller (BC) works in a small team dedicated to a Business Unit. In that unit the BC directs and plans the preparation of reports that summarize and forecast business activities and financial positions in areas of income, expenses and earnings based on past, present and expected operations. BC establish budgets, approve expenditures and provide guidance to ensure a profitable growth in the unit in which they work.
Principal accountabilities:
Actively support Unit Management with overall Business and financial risk management.
Actively support Head of Business Control EW in his KPA 's.
Partner with Operations to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance.
Lead/Support the finance planning process, interacting with Head of Business Control and the Unit.
Lead/Support the forecasting and planning processes, including alignment with key stakeholders.
Provide strong analytical support such as project analysis.
Improve and develop efficient reporting to support decision-making and delivery goals.
Support service for variance analysis against budgets, identify risks and opportunities.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements, as well as forecasts.
Financial control of the business unit, support Management with OPEX budget management, P/L management, interaction with Accounting on month-end closings.
Your will be located to the Järfälla, Stockholm office and reporting to Head of Business Control Electronic Warfare.
Your skills and experience
Required know-how and experience:
• Degree in Finance or other quantitative area or other degree with equivalent experience.* 5+ years of experience in Finance with knowledge in IFRS is a prerequisite.* Advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture.* Strong skills in accessing and using calculation tools, advanced computer literacy.* Skills in working with Agresso, Hyperion (HFM) and Office tools.* Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks.* Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills.* Strong interpersonal skills for working in a team.* Ability to work with staff at all levels of the organization.* Swedish and English language skills (both in verbal and written).
