This role functions as a business partner to the Husqvarna Division Sourcing team to control and support the improvement of operational performance within Sourcing. You are a key member of the Sourcing Management Team while at the same time playing an important role in the wider Controlling Team to secure financial control within Operations of Husqvarna Division.
Main responsibilities includes
• Responsible for controlling the Direct Material spend within the Husqvarna Division including analyzing financial data, reporting progress towards commitments and follow-up of non-financial KPI:s.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining proper reporting of indirect spend.
• Support business with sound financial judgement and evaluate proposed projects.
• Mentor the Sourcing team to promote a better understanding of financial tools and metrics, conduct trainings and establish guidelines.
• Prepare for and be an active participant in Operational reviews.
• Take active part in group wide projects in the area of Sourcing controlling which midterm means involvement in new systems implementation.
• Drive the budget- and forecast process within sourcing.
• Strive to continuously improve data quality related to the Sourcing financial follow up.
Personal skills and capabilities
To succeed in this role you need to possess the ability to work within tight deadlines and have multitasking skills. You also possess ambition and drive to achieve with high degree of accuracy and attention to details.
You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to interpret, communicate/present findings - and make further recommendations based on this data.
Meriting experiences is working within a global organization, industrial or manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements
• Master's degree in Finance or Industrial Engineering
• Ten or more years of operational finance experience
• Progressive experience in Accounting/Finance to include in cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Advanced computer skills to include, but not limited to: MS Office software applications, ERP/MRP proficiency, and preferably JDE/SAP
