We are now looking for a Business Controller for the Nordics. The Position is based in Sollentuna, Häggvik and reports into the PBMS CFO Northern Region who is based in Viernheim, Germany. You will work very close with the Head of Business for the Nordics and with our Shared Service Centre in Germany.
The scope of the position is to provide Business Support to the Head of Business in 4 countries in the Nordic region (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland).
Responsibilities
• Reporting
• Lead month- quarter- and year-end financial closings including discussion of variances in financial results vs. prior periods and plan.
• Perform analysis on actual performance vs. budgeted targets and key business drivers.
• Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow), including statutory and tax requirements.
• Responsible for the overhead budget and estimates.
• Lead audits and ensure necessary documentation such as annual reports, tax returns and declarations are prepared and filed for the four countries.
• Continually review finance processes to improve overall efficiency and accuracy of the finance function.
• Support Operations in building Business Cases and be able to evaluate risks and opportunities, as well as being able technically / economically to set Business cases up in a plausible and transparent way.
Education and Experience Requirement
• University degree in economics or equivalent
• Very solid and basic education in accounting
• Fluent Swedish and English, knowledge of Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, and German appreciated.
• Excellent Excel skills are required, knowledge of Reporting tools
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi task ? ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and complex business
• Self-conscious and target oriented as well as very structured and organized.
• Good communicator
