On behalf of our client Mölnlycke Health Care, a world leading medical solution company, we are recruiting an ambitious and analytical Business Controller. This is a new position within the organization, where you will be able to be part of forming the role.
You are part of the OR Solutions team and will report to Finance Director ORS. The position is based at Mölnlycke Health Care headquarters in Gothenburg.
Surgical Solutions is a new unit created on October 2017 for Procedure trays, staff clothing and drapes that embrace a full ownership from end to end. Our ambition is to increase our profitability and revenue to reach half a billion of sales by 2022. We will capitalize on our market leading positions to fuel further growth by driving the upselling strategy and leverage onto a full surgical offer.
You will be a key enabler to successfully drive our business throughout our strategic journey leveraging from your fact-based and analytics-driven approach supporting our top management in taking informed decision.
Job Description
In this position as Business Controller you will assess business status and impact of changes to capture, analyze and document requirements and support the communication and delivery with relevant stakeholders.
You will provide financial analysis and reports for use in the development of business strategies together with providing financial support and liaise between stakeholders to secure transparent and common understanding of financial status of key projects and activities.
Key accountabilities
• Participate in the development of financial reporting, forecasts and budgets providing financial results and cost drivers to take action on deviations
• Conduct special case studies and analysis such as determination of work-in-house
• Provide guidelines for standard cost approaches used in business decisions and establish and monitor cost reduction programs
• Provide direction to functional counterparts and senior management on matters involving cost determination problems, inventory valuation and product costings.
• Challenge business demands ensuring value for money is achieved
• Manage ongoing relations with business partner to drive satisfaction within finance
• Ensure adherence to global finance processes as well as policies, principles and guidelines
Qualifications and profile
You have a Bachelor degree or Master of Business Administration or equivalent skills and a background of at least 5 years of relevant work experience within finance in an international environment. To be successful in this position you have strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as a high level of business understanding combined with strong business acumen . As a person you demonstrate high levels of teamwork and cooperation as well as having strong communication and networking skills. You are a motivator with a strong drive to develop as well as being highly goal oriented.
You are highly motivated to take responsibility and prepare decision-making materials under complex circumstances as well as having the ability to present complex financial figures at any level of the organization.
As a person we believe you are a positive, open-minded and a performance driven team player with a strong business interest. Characteristics required for this position involve being curious, being able to challenge and eager to learn and explore with a growth mindset. This position requires some international traveling in order to gain business insight and build relationships with stakeholders.
We also expect you to have experience from ERP systems, preferably SAP and Cognos as well as being highly skilled in Excel and Powerpoint.
You communicate in a clear and concise manner on a consistent and timely basis and you are fluent in English, spoken as well as written.
