Business and Staff Function control is a team within Group Control responsible for overseeing operational performance management across Vattenfall. The team manages the complete process through Group target development and the annual business planning process to monthly reporting and following-up. The team's role is to analyse, challenge and drive business performance by ensuring the overall business control framework is in place and operating. Ultimately the team provides decision support for Group management to ensure they are able to make the right decisions, based on the right information in a timely way.
We are currently looking to fill the position of business controller:
Main activities and tasks Expert in the key business drivers of one part of the business Target setting and business planning Performance analysis and follow-up External and Internal reporting Quarterly Forecasting Management decision support Continuous process improvement; supporting finance transformation
Qualifications Proven record in business performance management Highly financially literate Ability to analyse, understand and question Highly developed interpersonal skills and able to operate at all levels in the organisation Strong communication skills - written and verbal - and fluency in our corporate language, English Business controlling or other similar experience (e.g. strategy, business development) Specialist knowledge of one of Vattenfall's areas of operations would be an advantage (e.g. trading, investment controlling, customer service) A strong and genuine interest in understanding the key drivers of business performance and looking for opportunities to change and improve Location: Business and Staff Function control is located at headquarters in Stockholm and team members would be expected to spend at least 3 days per week there but flexible solutions for the rest of the time can be explored.
