hela Sverige Sandvik Process Systems is a growing product area within the Sandvik Group's business area Sandvik Materials Technology and accounts for the majority of production of endless strip steel in stainless and carbon materials, as well as steel-belt based process solutions. Our customers are found, primarily, in the wood, chemicals and food processing industries.
We are now looking for a Business Controller who will be part of the team responsible for business performance activities at the Process Systems product area. The position is based at the Process Systems head office in Sandviken.
Key performance areas
As Business Controller your significant responsibilities include:
• Analyzing and presenting the monthly and quarterly performance of the product area (PA) to the Process Systems Management
• Developing standardized methods, tools, routines and procedures to improve and coordinate business performance activities within PA Process Systems
• Providing proactive business support to sales and production units globally
• Directing monthly and quarterly book closing activities at PA Process Systems, while improving efficiency within the financial operations, including reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting
You will work closely with Process Systems management, as well as other key personnel, and report to the Product Area Controller.
Your profile
The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Finance and has a minimum of five years of relevant work experience. Very good insight into business controlling is a prerequisite, along with energy and enthusiasm for supporting the business. This position offers a broad work network and interesting development possibilities, both within Sweden and internationally.
To succeed in this position you need to be a good organizer, someone who sees that things get done and a creative problem solver. You are a responsible team player with a head for numbers and a structured work style. You also need to have excellent analytical abilities, as well as the personal integrity and collaboration skills needed to build effective partnerships. You will also have the drive and capacity to contribute within the global PA Process Systems team as we work to meet both our short and long-term growth and profitability targets. You are a good communicator, in writing as well as verbally, in both Swedish and English.
