Our client is currently transitioning from providing trucks, buses, and engines to offering complete and eco-friendly transportation solutions.
The Finance and Business Control department at Sales & Marketing aims to assist in achieving profitable and cost-effective business operations that provide value to customers. They focus on monitoring and establishing goals for sales volumes, profitability, and expenses across various departments within Sales & Marketing. The team oversees performance analysis and tracking of global activities in order to guide operations and implement necessary adjustments to meet shared objectives. Additionally, the function is involved in a range of financial activities including business controlling, analysis, accounting, reporting, as well as handling special tasks and business scenarios.
The Business Control department at Parts and Services (KCP) is seeking a Controller who is focused on business outcomes and has a strong financial expertise to join their team. You will work alongside two other controllers in the Parts and Services control team and report to the Head of Business Control. This role involves a diverse range of tasks related to finance and business goals, and offers opportunities to expand your professional network within Sales & Marketing and other financial departments in the Industrial System.
Primary tasks:
• Overseeing and analyzing the Parts business sector to aid in the company's goal of becoming a pioneer in sustainable transportation and promoting the transition.
• Guide and push the organization by providing Area Sales Management and Product Management with business and financial data and assessments on volumes, revenues, and profit margins.
• Proactively engage in and lead the worldwide parts business by establishing goals, conducting forecasts, and formulating financial strategies. In cases of discrepancies, the controller requires/supports the development of essential action plans from the responsible area.
• Initiatives and inquiries in Finance and Business Control (KC) that aim to enhance support tools, procedures, methods, and systems to meet new requirements.
• Emphasis on enhancing controlling techniques in KCP.
Requirements
We are seeking a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and actively seeks to push the boundaries of the business. The role involves working in a dynamic setting that constantly evolves, requiring the controller to be flexible and responsive to changing circumstances.
Furthermore, the job involves conducting various ad hoc analysis which requires an ability to effectively manage and adjust to new requirements and situations quickly. You must have a track record of engaging with improvement work and possess a mindset that is willing to challenge established practices and approaches.
You are a responsible and organized individual who is prepared to confront existing situations or processes methodically and make necessary changes. You excel at translating requirements into precise objectives and outcomes for yourself and those around you. Your strength lies in analyzing large amounts of data, identifying key insights, and transforming them into educational materials for different stakeholders.
You hold a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration or Industrial Engineering, along with 3-6 years of applicable work experience. You are proficient in both spoken and written English and Swedish. You possess advanced skills in Microsoft Office and have a solid understanding of general Information Systems/Information Technology for productivity. Experience in IT-related projects is highly valued.
