PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As a Business Architect you will lead and manage strategic presales activities for a given set of customers in order to build a digital transformation vision and roadmap supported by SAP software. You will serve as a confidant to the sales team to plan and orchestrate sales engagements and to assign the appropriate team of Specialists. Furthermore, you will be an evangelist for the SAP Intelligent Enterprise story as well as drive our cloud strategy in discussions with customers to influence opinions and inspire to action.

As a Business Architect you will also engage with the customers to ideate on new and innovate solutions and works closely with the team to architect solutions that solve our customer 's most complex business problems.

TASKS
The main task of a Business Architect is to lead the solution side of a customer sales engagemnet and to be the sigle point of contact for the Account Executives and specific customers. That means, being the key driver from vision to use cases to tangible solution proofs.
In short, this means:
Orchestrate internal and external solution resources in an engagement; drive deal qualification, prioritization and assigning the right team to the opportunity in close co-operation with the Account Executive and Presales Manager.
Collaborate closely with other internal stakeholders; like Industry Value Advisors, Center of Excellence; Digital Business Service and Product Development to create the digital transformation vision, win theme and the mid- to long-term strategy for the customer account.
Spend time with customers and lead the engagement with key stakeholders by actively participating in customer meetings, events and evangelize business innovation topics in customer industry language and solutions.
Own the quality of the solution specific proposals (presentations, demonstrations, innovation workshops etc.) by driving the process from vision to use cases to tangible solution proofs.
Hold themselves and others accountable to the standards established via Best-Run for delivering memorable customer engagements.
Facilitate innovation workshops with design thinking techniques and ensuring consistent theme and readiness for workshop/demo delivery.
Responsible for resource search and reaches out to presales manager for approval, allocation and staffing of the identified resources in the system.
Drive deliverables as Business Transformation Roadmaps, Solution feasibility studies and proposals, Business case input, RFx 's, use case stories to fulfil vision, Solution maps, manage PoC, Mock-ups etc.


EXPECTATIONS
You must have a broad knowledge of SAP solutions and ERP and ability to map business priorities to SAP solution components. You must also be able to demonstrate and showcase S4 and the Intelligent Enterprise solutions on a high-level, and how they relate to customers' expectations and requirements.
Build strong relationship with SAP Sales teams and with their assigned customers
Experienced in presenting to and talking with C-level managers and orchestrate to co-operation of cross teams (Business, IT etc.)
You must have the ability to understand how SAP solutions can support the customers digital transformation
Excellent team management skills and experience with orchestration of complex deals envisioning the big picture and value for the customer
Provide best-practice guidance on customer processes and present business values related to solution proposition and roadmap
You must be resourceful and creative and be able to work collaboratively with the SAP virtual account team, partners and customers and you must possess strong solution selling and value-based selling skills.


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Self-confident, action and result oriented with a passion for success
Master-degree required, MBA or equivalent degree from accredited university preferred
Innovative thinking
Leadership experience either from manager positions or project management
Ability to work in international and virtual teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills on all levels
Fluency in English is a requirement, fluency in Swedish is preferred and any other language is an asset.

WORK EXPERIENCE
10+ years of professional experience including minimum 5 years of Business Consulting and/or Presales experience in areas appropriate to the job
Demonstrate successful salses engagements with customers and with the customers business stakeholders
Expert knowledge/expertise on the end-to-end SAP processes/solution
Deep industry experience in minimum one industry, more than one if preferred
C-Level messaging and influencing experience
Experience in sales and presales processes
Digital transformation, Business Consulting and/or Presales experience
Leadership experience in virtual and cross- functional teams
