Global Information Services (GIS) offers a dynamic workplace with a clear agenda to develop a global organization in line with large scale changes both within IT and the business. Department Description
Manufacturing IT Husqvarna Brand Division is a new department. The departments responsibility is to manage all IT activities related to Manufacturing globally within Husqvarna Brand Division.
Position/Job Description
In this position you will work globally, proactively gathering and analyzing information within one of Husqvarna Groups key strategic areas, Manufacturing IT.
You are to provide the organization and the divisions with the relevant information and insights, in order to support the organization in the decision making process and strategy forward when it comes to Manufacturing solutions. Since this function is new you will have the possibility to influence and grow together with the Group in our work with Industry 4.0 going for a Smart Plant concept.
Key responsibilities
• Conduct analysis of business issues and systems challenges within the supply chain organization. Translate business requirements into appropriate technical specifications.
• Identify, scope and recommend technology initiatives and solutions to facilitate information flow and decision-making to improve supply chain business performance.
• Successfully gather, structure, analyze and present market/competitive information including internal and external data.
• Coordinate with end business users to ensure complete and accurate data sets, maximize usability and efficiency of solutions, and develop and execute test scenarios.
• Develop and provide end user training for new applications.
• Collaborate with the Global IT organization to ensure compliance to IT protocols, security, following established code documentation and revision control. Gathering, structuring and analyzing information about competitive landscape and trends within Manufacturing.
• Actively contribute to the development of a target and roadmap for Manufacturing within Husqvarna Brand Division.
We are looking for
• +3 minimum years' experience of business analysis and preferably within the manufacturing domain.
• Experience from complex projects/programs in a multi-market/international set-up, communicating with different stakeholders internally and externally.
• Fluent English and a good level of Swedish, preferably fluent.
• Understanding in and experiences from working with MES, MOM and ISA 95.
• Interest in IOT and IIOT
• Unafraid in structuring and presenting information to different areas in the company
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Interest in numerical and analytical questions, often ad-hoc
• Ability to get the message across in different communications settings: distance, conference, Skype-meetings, from operational teams to senior management
• Academic degree

• Develop and maintain database applications with focus on data integration from various internal production and finance systems
• Coordinate with end business users to ensure complete and accurate data sets, maximize usability and efficiency of solutions, and develop and execute test scenarios.
• Develop and provide end user training for new applications.
• Collaborate with the Global IT organization to ensure compliance to IT protocols, security, following established code documentation and revision control.
• Experience from and willingness to work in global and distributed team.
Qualifications (Education and Experience):
Required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant business / technical analyst experience
Desired
• Advanced degree in Computer Science
• Previous experience in supply chain management function(s)

• Strong planning and organizational skills, including a demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptive to internal processes and change, delays or unexpected events
• Proficiency at the intermediate to experienced level in MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness and ability to work extended hours, including overtime and weekends, and travel to domestic and international sites as required.
• Skilled in working in multicultural organization having deep understanding of cultural differences.
Desired
• Broad technical knowledge of various IT systems and/or capability to perform other IT functions
• Innovative and open-minded, along with a willingness to continually learn and search for ideas and opportunities to implement system efficiencies.
