We are presently in a very exciting development phase at SKF, part of SKF Business Transformation. This implies out-of-the-box-thinking, value realization, performance focus, internal / external bench marking and a global approach with close working relations with the professional community as well as stakeholders.
Global Process Support (GPS) is organized as a matrix organization with the three regions; Europe, North America and Asia as well as a Process Organization, of which one is the Data Warehouse process.
For this position we are looking for an individual with a business background in the Demand Chain (EDI) process area, capable of analyzing and resolving relevant business issues and processes across various functional areas. If you haven't provided first level support for Cognos Impromptu before we believe you have experience in giving first level support on similar BI applications, or experience as a Power User in a major enterprise system.
Key responsibilities
• Provide first level software support and problem solving management
• Business assessments and case handling (routine and complex)
• Administration of the applications (Cognos Impromptu and Web Reporting)
• Participate in application related projects
• Test for acceptance of system changes
• Perform training and develop training material
• Perform analysis on process and system measurements
• Systems and Process Knowledge and Evaluation
• Productivity improvements
Your Profile
• Hands on Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence experience using Cognos Impromptu and Web Reporting. OR, advanced DW/BI support experience in another Business Application, is Required
• Advanced Report Writing using Data Warehouses is an Advantage
• Customer focused and a user support mind set
• Strong analytical skills
• Team player with the capability to cooperate across processes and organizations
• Strong interest for IT applications and experience of working with systems (Experience of SAP is a plus)
• Strong business process understanding
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interested in working with training
• Skilled user of MS Office Package
• Fluent in English, both in oral and writing. Proficiency in additional language(s) is considered a merit
• Ability to travel globally
• University degree within Business Administration or equivalent experience is advantage

The position holder will be based in Gothenburg under a local contract and disciplinary report to the GPS Regional Manager Europe. You will functionally report to Data Warehouse Support Process Manager.
