Brownfield Exchange Sales Manager

A Snapshot of Your Day

Step into a dynamic role at the forefront of Energy Transformation! As a key player in the Brownfield Exchange (BEX) team, you will drive prospect and opportunity development, as well as order entry for Siemens Energy's own fleet and oOEM equipment.

In this exciting position, you will have global responsibility for selling MGT BEX solutions/products, collaborating with regional entities and directly engaging with end customers. Your strategic insights will be essential as you work closely with BEX Regional Product Development Managers (RPDMs) to craft tailored sales strategies for each identified country, all aimed at meeting our ambitious annual budget.



How You'll Make an Impact
* Coach and supervise the activities of the BEX team (3-4 colleagues), providing guidance and support aligned with the vetted sales strategy to ensure smooth handling of sales projects according to internal and external expectations.
* Act as the sales manager for your own sales opportunities, managing all nominated sales activities from Lead Management through to Project Handover.
* Take ownership of the entire sales process, coordinating with involved parties to deliver technically accurate and commercially compliant proposals that assist in meeting the company's financial Key Performance targets (Order intake).
* Ensure that Sales and Tendering processes are implemented in accordance with PM@Siemens methodology and Siemens Energy process/LOA guidelines, maintaining compliance and ethical standards.
* Manage stakeholders effectively through strong written and verbal communication, providing clear direction, encouraging collaboration among entities, suppliers, and colleagues, and analyzing market trends to develop a comprehensive sales strategy.
* Travel internationally as needed to support Siemens Energy colleagues and end customers in your territory.



What You Bring

We are looking for you who possesses strong communication skills and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams while influencing collaboration across departments. You have cultural awareness and experience working with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds. You should be disciplined in planning, organizing, and structuring resources, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking. An entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive approach to challenges will be essential for success in this role. In addition, you'll also need:
* Proven experience in developing and driving complex international sales projects with direct customer interaction, including lead generation and closure in an Oil & Gas/Power Generation business environment.
* A minimum of 10 years of experience with deep knowledge of Sales and Commercial Management.
* A university degree in engineering and/or business.
* Solid technical understanding of Siemens Energy MGT/oOEM products.
* A proven record of effectively engaging with internal and external customers in an international environment, and understanding of customer business drivers and requirements.
* Understanding and experience of the Siemens Energy internal process, such as PM@Siemens and LOA process, and company network are highly meritorious.



About the Team

You will be working in a diverse team of 12 motivated and supportive colleagues, with positive and caring attitude, who are aiming to solve customers' issues in an innovative way. You will report to Sales Manager for modernization and upgrades.



Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
