General information:

Join ABB as a BIM (Building Information Modelling) Information Manager in the Power Grids division and work in a team which is dedicated to creating a future, where innovative digital technologies bring cleaner energy to more people.

You will be part of HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current), a business unit within ABB's Power Grids division located in Ludvika. The unit develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. This ABB developed HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. HVDC is also used to connect power systems.

Tasks:
As the BIM Information Manager, you will handle and administer the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure that project's processes with regards to Civil Design and Construction documents are followed. Another important task is to monitor document management in the project.

Your responsibilities include:
• Establishing project CDEs including processes and procedures to enable reliable information exchange between Construction Project Team Members, Employer and other parties
• Maintaining and validating compliance with CDE processes and procedures and advising on non-compliance
• Establishing agree and implementing the information structure and maintenance standards for the information model
• Ensuring that the project's CDE has a clear and effective structure
• Ensuring that project members have clear process for delivery, publishing and communication at the project's CDE
• Checking that deliveries have been made according to agreed time and specified locations and reminding responsible persons in case this has not been fulfilled
• Managing the CDE tool and training project team members in its use
The BIM Information Manager has the mandate to:
• Create and Modify the CDE structure to be used in a project
• Modify the Project's processes and instructions for delivery, publishing and communication at the CDE if required to meet project specific requirements
• Remove / rename documents on the CDE in cases where they do not meet the agreed requirements

Requirements:
As a foundation, you have a minimum of a bachelor's Degree within Civil Design or a related field, combined with at least three years of experience in 3D Modeling. It's required that you have at least three years of experience from Revit Architecture, Revit MEP, Autocad, Autocad MEP and Navisworks, as well as 1-3 years of experience from BIM, Model and Data coordination. Construction experience is considered a plus.

You have great interpersonal skills, creative mindset and excellent ability to resolve issues. It is important that you communicate well at all levels of the organization and get your messages across in a coherent and clear way. In addition, you need to be self-motivated and work effectively both independently and as part of the team. You have high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-based orientation. Furthermore, it's essential that you have the ability to exercise sound judgment in the decision-making process. Adding your exceptional client management skills and the ability to build goodwill, you have what it takes to succeed in this position.
