hela Sverige We are looking for a Project Manager who enjoys driving Bid operations within an intense business oriented environment. The understanding of complex projects and an interest in keeping the numbers right is essential.
Your role
As a Bid Manager for SMRA you will work together with the Sales Responsible, supporting and coordinating our side of the bid campaign. You are responsible for the compilation of bid packages for aircraft modification including cost estimates, defining delivery plans and risk assessments.
This entails coordinating the organisations' estimation activities and ensuring that the steps in the Winning Business process are handled correctly.
Our businesses and products are highly complex and you will interface with a broad network of resources within different parts of Saab. The tasks will vary in both complexity and scope.
Your profile
We are looking for a driven project manager with the ability to both see the big picture and understand the details. You are a good communicator with the ability to create trust and commitment among those you meet in your work.
For this job, you need to be organized and able to manage yourself and your team in a bid project.
You strive to identify new possibilities, challenges and ways to be more efficient and you act on them.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
What you will be part of
Business area Aeronautics is an innovative supplier of world-class aircraft systems, advanced aerostructures and a wide range of support solutions within civil and military aviation. Within the business area, research, development and production of military aviation systems is conducted as well as future studies in preparation for future manned and unmanned flight systems and further development of existing products.
You will be a part of department Special mission and Regional Aircraft (SMRA), within BU Aviation Services. Within Aviation Services you also find department Flight Operations, Support Solutions, Ground Support Equipment, Camo and Logistic Services och Aviation Training.
SMRA delivers a vast number services and products related to twin-engine fixed-wing aircraft, GlobalEye is our current flagship product. We act both in the military and civilian market, the customer and their expectations always is in the center in our operation.
