As our quest to democratize financial services continues at blazing speed, our Money Alliance is looking for a Backend Developer with a DevOps mindset and a great deal of experience in Agile environments to join our Alternative Payments Area (APM).
In this role, you will be given to co-tackle a wide range of technical challenges by joining a cross-functional Team consisting of passionate groundbreakers driven by the ambition to develop hassle-free solutions helping small businesses succeed in a world of giants.

Part of our Money Alliance, the core mission of our APM Area is all about increasing sales conversion of our seller base as we enter new markets. To get it done, we rely on a dedicated Team with focus on developing and integrating innovative payment methods.

The Skills To Succeed
Broadly speaking, at Zettle we believe in working with the best tools for the tasks. With that in mind, we think that the following skills and know-how would greatly help you to make the magic happen:
Programming in a JVM language such as Java or Kotlin.
SQL and data modelling.
Familiar with Microservices frameworks.
Building distributed secure REST APIs.
In addition, you would earn extra points if you have experience with:
Amazon Web Services (SNS, SQS, API Gateway, ECS).
Managing AWS Infra/DevOps at scale using Terraform.
WebSockets.
TypeScript / ReactJS.
Oauth.
Lastly, If you have some knowledge of the FinTech/Payments industry, we'd love to know. If not, we'll be happy to help you get there!
