The products you will work with are market leading within underground loading and hauling.
A change in how machines are built has started and conventional powertrains will be changed into electrification technology with new challenges and new opportunities on how to build the machines and what characteristics we can give the machines to gain better performance, and we want you to join us on this journey!
You will work with the powertrain components such as diesel engines, coolers, transmissions, drive lines, axles, and tyres for the loaders and trucks. The work involves matching the different components to a well-balanced system including calculations, testing and documentation. You will mostly, in project format, work with new development projects, product maintenance, base development and customer orders. You will have close contact with other departments in Örebro, for example technical service, purchasing and marketing. Contacts with customers and suppliers around the world is also a part of your work.

Experience and Knowledge:
It is a merit if you have worked with similar tasks, such as drive train installations or have a genuine interest in motors or machines.

We see experience from 3D CAD tools for example Pro-E be considered a merit.
Educational requirements:
You have a university degree in mechanical engineering, B.Sc., M.Sc. or equivalent knowledge is desirable. Meritorious is educational orientation of vehicle /vessel /combustion technology.
Atlas Copco Underground Rock Excavation (URE) has a large program of machines used in tunneling and underground mining operations, for example drill rigs, bolting rigs, concrete spraying equipment, loaders and mine trucks. The equipment is used all around the world, normally in very harsh environments with high demands on safety, reliability and productivity. They are available in various technology levels, from simple to fully autonomous with diesel and/or electric drive trains.
