The Health Metrics unit coordinates all levels of education in statistics and health economics at
the Sahlgrenska Academy. The unit also contributes with long term statistical and health
economics expertise in research projects inside and outside the Sahlgrenska Academy. The
researchers at the unit are also engaged in methodological research in health statistics and health
economics.
The Unit involves 'Akademistatistik', i.e. the function offering consultations concerning
statistical questions in health science research. 'Akademistatistik' aims to offer statistical support
for research scientists within the Sahlgrenska Academy, Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the
Västra Götaland Region. We aim to ensure a high standard for individual assignments and to
help as many researchers as possible.
Job assignments
Responsible for the work with ?Akademistatistik?, i.e. consulting in statistics for health science
research.
Qualifications
PhLic-degree in mathematical statistics/statistics/biostatistics. Solid experience of collaborations
in health science research. Good communicative skill.
