SW are on behalf of a customer currently looking for a new member to join their team of assistants. Our customer is a leading international Private Equity firm with a strong international presence in the Nordic region as well as other parts of Europe. The company is located in the central area of Stockholm and you will be joining 35 employees in the Stockholm office.    

Work tasks:
In your role you will be assisting  2-4 Investment Professionals in terms of supporting them in, and facilitating, their everyday work. The Investment Professionals keep a busy schedule and often work on multiple deals and you will be contributing to their effectiveness by making sure their schedules are on track and that they are always on target.

Your tasks are described as follows:

•        Extensive diary management and travel planning

•        Assist the Investment Professionals in terms of, calendar management ,

        correspondence and message screening

•        Maintain soft and hard copy files, both for deals and internal matters

•        Produce presentations, letters, e-mails both from manuscript and on own

        initiative

•        Co-ordinate signing and distributions of documents

•        Perform research on local and global industries

•        Process expense claims

•        Co-ordinate board material and assist in the organization of board

         meetings

In addition to this you will be working together with, and covering for other assistants working within the different offices, collaborating in achieving a well functioning and organized work group.

Suitable background:
We are looking for somebody with a High school degree as a minimum. At least 2 years of experience from similar work as an assistant in a professional, fast paced and international environment is a requirement. You have a demonstrated ability to handle confidential information appropriately and you show a professional conduct and discretion at all times. You have a general understanding of business and the financial world and you show a willingness to learn more about Private Equity. Furthermore you have good computer skills, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook. You have excellent skills in communicating in English, Finnish and Swedish, both in writing and verbally. Experience from Financial/Professional services/Private Equity sector is considered a merit.

To succeed in this role you need to be hard-working and organized, you are highly flexible and willing to work non-standard hours as needed. You have excellent interpersonal skills and you have the ability to pick up tasks quickly. You are a problem solver and willing to pitch in where work is needed.
