One of the worlds greatest banks are now looking for the next star to their Stockholm office. We are, on behalf of our client, now looking for a person to join their team while one of the original team members are on parental leave. This is a rare opportunity to come across and a great chance for you to gain valuable experience. You will be part of the deposit team and have plenty of different tasks on your table. You will also work very close to the company offices in other countries.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
Description of Responsibilities

You will perform depositary duties on Swedish based funds which include:

• Carrying out risk assessments
• Cash flow monitoring
• Oversight of the custody chain
• Verification of the ownership of non-custodial assets and record keeping
• Monitoring market activities that would potentially require actions on behalf of a Fund; Establish effective communication with clients, fund administrators and as necessary third party agents to support the depositary work being performed
• Conducting risk assessments
• Manages on a day-to-day basis the priorities and quality of the work
• Understand the regulations applicable to the depositary bank responsibilities, follow the developments of the fund industry

Oversight of:

• Valuation
• Subscriptions and redemptions
• Investment compliance
• Income distribution

We are looking for a curious person who is willing to develope and contribute to our client's encuraging work enviroment. You need to have a strong driving force and a solution orientated mindset as well as you need to be a good team player and co-worker.

Demonstrated qualities:

• Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities such as engagement, pro-activity, communication skills and enthusiasm
• Experience or interest in the Investment Management industry, either directly or as a service provider
• Understanding of the Depositary concept and the responsibilities as they impact both the company and its clients
• Strong technical knowledge in MS Office applications, specifically Excel
• Ability to consistently work with accuracy
• Affinity with numbers and risk analysis
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• University degree within relevant area

Other information:

• Start: December
• Extent: Fulltime for aproximately 10 months
• Location: Stockholm
