Position
The General Arrangement Engineer will be a part of the Arrangement group and report to the Group Manager.
The primary responsibilities will include:
• Development of general arrangements for offshore units in early projects phases.
• Propose sutible general arrangements for our clients during bid phases.
• Responsible for develpment og Living Quarters/ Accommodations.
• Using codes/standards as a basis for develop general arrangements.
• Develop general arrangements based on client's functional requiriments and also comply with governing codes/ standards.
Profile
The ideal candidate has qualifications and competencies which primarily include:
• Minimun 5 years experience of relevant experience develops of general arrangements for offshore units.
• The position requires experience from using codes/standards as a basis for development of general arrangements.
• Experience from working environment engineering is preferable.
• Design experience using AutoCad or PDMS.
• Experience working offshore are preferable.
• Communicates fluently in both English and Swedish.
Initiates actions to progress work and takes appropriate action to meet challenging goals, schedules or buisness needs.
• Takes personal responsibility for own career path by activly seeking development opportunities.
• Question the effectiveness of current systems and processes and looks for ways to improve on them.
• Mentors others in self development by sharing experiences of both previous successes and failures.
