We are now looking for their game changer for the Swedish market!

Tasks and responsibilities:

As an Area Sales Manager at Sovereign Brands, you are primarily responsible for establishing new collaborations and building and managing the company brand portfolio in Sweden. Your responsibilities cover all channels of business, though initially with an on-premise focus. Inherent in this position is managing customer relationships, and you are responsible for developing and executing sales strategies as well as managing sales budgets and marketing programs in the pursuit of achieving both quantitative and qualitative KPIs. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that Sovereign Brands are updated on the Swedish market and its development, and ensure that pricing, POS, displays and ads are executed according to expected standard.

Amongst other things you will:
• Actively develop and manage relationships with importer personnel i.e., GMs, VPs, Account Executives, Merchandising VPs, Sales Managers, and Sales Reps
• In collaboration with the regional Sales Manager, develop and execute the annual sales plan for assigned geographic territory
• Manage company brand portfolio in Sweden, when appropriate travel within territory to observe business conditions and to actively engage accounts
• Develop product presentations and introduce the product range to customers, as well as implement creative programs to activate the consumer.
• Execute marketing activities according to strategy, ensure brand-visibility and create engagement trough events and via social media.

Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:

• Documented sales experience within the beverage alcohol industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite including Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel when required

To succeed in the role, you have excellent communication and networking skills and feel comfortable preforming in a negotiation. You have good presentation skills and are confident presenting products to potential clients. You have a well-developed customer- and service orientation towards clients as well as colleagues and partners. In addition, you are good at planning and driving your work forward with the ability to make your own decisions. You feel comfortable leading your own projects and tasks and are good at maintaining structure. When facing problems, you approach them with a logical approach and learn quickly. To thrive in this role, you also need to be professional and show a high level of engagement and enthusiasm in your day-to-day work.
