Job Description
As the Area Lead Engineer for product data analyst as a driven leader, you will play a vital role for us in our mission to make H&M Group a truly data and insight driven company. You will be responsible for group of Business analysts covering the needs of various functions on the value chain. You must have a strong customer focus, a strong commercial mindset , business process understanding , innate curiosity to continuous business process improvement leveraging data. . Your team will work with multiple business stake holders in mapping business process , Developing user stories, map data and insight required to drive decisioning, provide frame work to assess & measure the impact of data driven decisioning. You will lead a team working with multiple advanced analytics tools initiatives to analyze, execute and follow up initiatives from idea to industrialization. The teams work in an agile and cross-functional setup.
What you will be doing
Be an available and approachable manager for team members bv inspiring and coaching them 1-1 on their personal development journey in alignment with the needs of the team and H&M.
Energize people and teams by being a catalyst leader
Identify future competence gaps in Data Analytics across enterprise
Oversee Business analysis embedded across product delivery across multiple programs
Communicate and track key performance metrics across Data adoption
Identify business process improvement opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
Create presentations of improvements and findings and present these to senior management.
Organize framework, strategy and facilitate recording both formal and informal product specifications as needed by the team and Help implement sustainable best-practices in business analysis and the business strategy that will guide the short- and long-term plans
Developing requirements such as user stories as per the acceptance criteria is
Examine the work and ensure that the user story fits all the inclusion criteria if the product manager has already produced the user story.
enhance product and system knowledge and assist the product manager with analysis, scoping, minimum viable product, user stories, and other activities that value users.
Lead, coach and develop members of the area, promoting best practice in business practices and continually benchmarking against industry standards
Formal staff responsibility, including salary review, performance dialogues and support in individual development plans and competence needs.
Empower stakeholders to improve the customer value through expert analysis of various types of data
Advocate data-driven decision making through for example experimentation and other quantitative analysis.
Design advanced analytics solutions together with business stakeholders and product/analytics teams to maximize impact; function as the link and catalyst
Pressure-test algorithms from a business logic perspective and develop value-proofs/ business cases

Skills and abilities you will bring
5-8 years experience as a data leader in retail industry
2-3 years of Business Analyst experience (excluding leadership)
Strong customer focus, commercial mindset, and innate curiosity
excellent written and verbal communication skills
Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Superior presentation and negotiation skills
Strong management and organizational skills
Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments
Bachelor's degree or higher in business analysis, business administration, finance or related field
Experience to communicate and explain data and its implications to various stakeholders
Experience in business process improvements, leading team of Business or data Analysts
Strong experience and/or interest in Business Analysis
Experience & ability to align assignments with the strategic goals of the business.
Experience & ability to define visions, strategies, and goals.
Experience & ability to strive to reach goals, prioritize tasks and take direct action to address problems. Meet deadlines and achieve results.
Experience & ability to establish priorities with clear goals and responsibilities to achieve a high level of performance.
Experience & ability to advise the business in the best solution from both a business and maintainability perspective .

Qualifications
Functional Knowledge
Deep understanding and knowledge in big data implementations
Power BI, Azure, PowerPoint, Web analytics, (ex-Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), Visual Analytics (ex Clicktale, Content Square)
Experimentation (ex-Optimizely)
User Experience
GCP Big Query, Spark, Python
Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
