We are Solution Area Enterprise Systems (SA ES) within Ericsson Group IT. Within SA ES, we run IT like a business which means focusing on the value we deliver, on top of costs we generate. We have incubated ScalingAPI, as a digital product, in a venture capital model in collaboration between Group IT and Group Digital Transformation Office for Ericsson Group. The primary objective of ScalingAPI is to transform IT landscape by increased adoption of API as an technology enabler.
We are looking for an API Strategic Product Manager to join us to drive the fast-growing team! In this strategic role and global capacity, you will drive the overall API strategy and evolution as an enabler. Will be partnering with business and internal IT partners and outsourcing IT partners/ suppliers through the development lifecycle. You play a key role as the owner of API strategy in establishing the API ecosystem connecting not only the Enterprise but also partner ecosystems, prioritize, and manage product backlog within fast-moving environments.
You will
Own the overall API strategy and accountable to deliver the OKRs towards stake holders.
Own the product roadmap and accountable in prioritization of backlog & its execution.
Responsible for financial discipline and drive funding & investment decisions.
Manage both product and implementation service teams, ensuring timely delivery as per commitments.
Engage and co-ordinate with partners from both business & IT to:
Assess and drive API strategy in respective areas.
Engage with business or other partners to articulate business value of an API, and accordingly prioritize it.
Involve, scale and manage technical teams of application, API Enablement Center, Integration, API Development Factory to enable development and adoption of APIs .
Conduct workshops to help define problem statements and value propositions
Participate in governance forums and business review forums.
Engage with executive leadership to present value contributions, ensure support and confidence in evolving further.
To be successful in the role you must have
Bachelor's or Equivalent university degree
7-10 years of relevant work experience within IT
Familiar with API technology, development techniques, business impact, and strategy.
Familiar with Design Thinking, API first mindset and Agile ways of working.
Hands on experience in Business Analyst or Business Consultant role.
IT Project Management experience.
Basic understanding of ERP systems, SAP modules, Metadata, Master Data and Transactional data.
Understanding of enterprise business processes e.g. PLM, CRM, ERP, SRM, FI, HR, SCM
Experience in working with nearshore/offshore delivery team and with IT suppliers

SA ES are accountable for IT for management and transformation of end-to-end business process covering Sales, Marketing, Supply, Sourcing Finance, HR, Resource Management, R&D etc. to deliver Digital Ericsson.
