Active Safety CAE supports Active Safety development by means of computational analysis and simulation. This is done either virtually in a computer environment or semi-virtual in a Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) environment. The group today includes 20 engineers, where 7 are specialized in HIL simulations.
As an Analysis Engineer Active Safety you will be a member of Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) team and you will provide expertise and support test engineers to run test on the HIL station and create HIL environment for testing Active Safety functions.
Main responsibilities
• Development of HIL simulation environment
• Modelling in SIMULINK
• Support test engineers to perform tests
• Perform test (failsafe, diagnostics, functional) and analyze test results
• Automation of measurements
• Integrate hardware with vehicle simulator
Required qualifications
• Sc. degree in System, control & Mechatronics or equivalent
• Experience in real-time systems
• Ability to create, read and understand models developed in SIMULINK
• Strong analytical abilities since job requires ingenuity and creativity
• Driver's license
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Experience from vehicle dynamics is meritorious
• An asset would be experience from network communication, real time simulation, signal processing, awareness to Control Desk software packages
