At On-board Telematics we are in the heart of this transformation, and we work with implementing end-to-end functions like Entertain the driver, Driver Coaching, ISee, Remote SW Download and Geofencing. Connectivity is a key enabler for fleet management, uptime services and advanced vehicle services like driver assistance and fuel reduction, targeting reduced costs as well as increased revenues. Our android based service and entertainment system is enabling new features in the entertainment productivity and uptime field.
The development in the area of connectivity is fast, furious and fun!

We are now looking for an Agile Product Owner to lead two of our Entertainment and Connected Services Software teams & concerned products into the future.

The mission & context:

The main purpose of this role is to manage the development and the maintenance of the products during their whole product life cycle & to maintain the products roadmap.

The Agile Product Owner is globally responsible for a subset of the EACS (Entertainment and Connected Services) software products, both the product 's functional platform and the software product quality.

The Agile Product Owner should have a strong foot-hold in the software development team as well as with stakeholders and Product Manager for the Entertainment and Connected Services and continuously balance what is on top of the agenda.

Within On-board Telematics we apply the SAFe framework.

The main responsibilities are:
• Building, editing, and maintaining the team backlogs with input from stakeholders such as system architects, projects, engineering, other POs etc.
• Prioritize the backlog content for your products (technical debt, field/production issues, feature growth, project bugs & issues etc.)
• Secure alignment with stakeholders and Product Manager for Entertainment and Connected Services
• Iteration Planning - Reviewing and reprioritizing the backlog as part of the prep work for Iteration Planning, including coordination of dependencies with other POs
• Develop & maintain the products roadmap and support in developing EACS strategies and overall roadmap
• To represent the customer and ensure that the teams delivers value to the business
• Balance different product's requirements, such as platform vs business. I.e. Ensuring we get the optimum level of QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost & Feature)
• Represent On-board Telematics in the context of the products in scope
• Have a strong foot-hold in the development team as well as with stakeholders and Product Manager for the Entertainment and Connected Services
• Lead and continuously support in developing the processes, methods and tools that are used by the EACS to continuously improve
• Ensure that the Entertainment and Connected Services SW solutions, products and projects area are developed and delivered in an optimal way
• Participate in relevant concept selections & investigations
• Coach the team members regarding architectural matters
• Support in developing processes, methods, tools and standards related to android development at EACS & OBT

Requirements & qualifications:
• Master of Science in Computer Science, Electronics or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of automotive experience
• Have an open multi-brand and multi-cultural mindset
• Have good communication skills
• Be business and customer oriented
• Have excellent prioritization skills and ability to eliminate roadblocks
• Experience of agile methods, such as SCRUM, KANBAN & XP is meriting
• Experience of working with HMI & UX is meriting
• Experience of truck customers and users is meriting
• Experience from IT development is an asset
• Experience from SW development in truck or car industry within the area of connected services is highly meriting
• Have an inspiring leadership and find it rewarding to manage co-workers to perform their best in a successful working climate
